Gregg started the competition with a bang, bring in a five fish limit that weighed 4.86kg. His 2nd cast of the day resulted in a 1.63kg monster, followed 2 casts later by an 800 gram fish. Both fish falling for the Damiki Vault 42 blades. Gregg then moved onto the soft plastics (3 inch Armor Shads) to fill out his bag.

Squidgy Pro Slick Rigs again proved to be the essential ingredient to accumulating valuable competition points, and ultimately, the most Barramundi to take out the prestigious title of the 29th Barra Classic.

Local team “Mongrels”, made up of Tom McCullough, Matt West and Ben Wall attributed the success to the Squidgy Pro  Slick Rig Light, Evil Minnow colour in 110 size. The team also used Shimano Core 100MG reels and GLoomis baitcasting  rods exclusively.
